As every ghost's favourite night of the year rolls around again, we have cooked up a delicious deal with our friends at three of the Grassmarket's best-loved eateries.
From now until 31st March 2017, everyone who joins us on a Witchery Tour can enjoy fiendish freebies from authentic Italian ristorante O'Oliviero, American-style pizzeria Mamma's, or Mexican street-food sensation El Toro Loco. Just bring along proof of your tour purchase to any of these restaurants, and with every main course, get a complimentary drink on arrival and two-for-one starters or desserts if you dine on the evening of your tour, or two-for-one dessert and coffee if you dine before 31st March 2017.
In return, diners at any of these three establishments can take advantage of a two-for-one offer when booking a Witchery Tour. For each adult diner booking the tour, we offer a free adult or child place (up to a maximum of five free places per booking).
I'm also pleased to reveal that the spectacularly spooky "toritas" from El Toro Loco will be returning this Halloween to bring a flavour of el Dìa de los Muertos (and a nibble of the best Mexican street-food around) to the start of each tour of the evening, after the great popularity of their appearance last year.
The only downside of all of this? In this unseasonably warm October, and setting out on the tours with some sizzling-hot treats inside you, my trusty jumper-ooters will have to work extra hard to chill your marrow! Oh well ... as they say on the Internet (whatever that is): Challenge Accepted.
